If I can sprinkle seeds of joy
On someone's barren plot
And bring to light some cause for hope
That he has long forgot;
If I can lighten someone's load
That seems too great to bear,
Assuring him his fellow man
Is not too rushed to care;
If I can help renew one faith---
Restoring someone's smile,
My life will be enriched to seem
A little more worthwhile.
